A spacious half-day introduction to wheel throwing, intentionally limited to just four participants.
The longer format gives you space to work at your own pace, with plenty of individual guidance throughout. Whether it’s your first time at the wheel or you’re returning to build confidence and develop your practice, you can use the session to explore form, refine technique and work towards pieces that feel a little more considered or ambitious.
Complete beginners will properly absorb and practice the foundations, while those with more experience can work towards something more ambitious, such as a larger bowl or jug.
Workshop Notes
10am–2.30pm, including a 30-minute lunch break.
Maximum four participants, with one wheel each.
Suitable for complete beginners and those wanting more practice.
Finished pieces will be glazed in our transparent studio glaze.
Please bring your own lunch, an apron and an old tea towel.
Short nails are recommended for throwing.
Please allow around 10 minutes at the end to clean down your workstation.
